ALR carried out a brake repair job on a Case 521D this week.
We found a couple of problems with this loader as the brake discs had completely worn out on the rear axle & this allowed hydraulic oil to enter the rear axle through the brake piston seals. Also, the wrong oil had been fitted to the axles at some time & this would have had caused the performance of the remaining axle to be drastically reduced.
All 4 wheel hubs were removed, new brake discs & backing plates were fitted, along with new seals being fitted to the four brake pistons.
Our client lives & works about 3hrs away from us & we are confident they will be very happy with the machines stopping ability from now on!
